Wedding celebrations

We are often asked how to ensure there is enough alcohol for your wedding celebrations. It is vital to get this right for the success of a party. Some guests will imbibe more than others and you want to make sure that all of your guests are happy and enjoying their time spend celebrating with you.

We can advise you on the amount of alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic depending on the number of guests, the duration of the event and also taking into account any additional information and extra requests.

As a rule, it is good practice to ensure there are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks and mixers available especially if it is an afternoon summer Wedding or party. Also, it is essential to provide nibbles and most importantly of all, ensure their is safe transport available for your party goers.

That said, bubbles are always well received and are a great starter to relax your guests after the main Wedding ceremony is complete. Cocktails are also a wonderful addition and can be very cost friendly. Here are a couple of our favourite vodka recipes:

Mint Condition

4 Tbsp. Broken Shed Vodka

2 Tbsp. Honey Syrup

1 Tbsp Lime Juice

Float Ginger Beer

1 Mint Leaf


In a mixing shaker add Vodka, lime, and honey syrup. Add ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with a splash of ginger beer add a mint leaf for garnish.

Watermelon-Cucumber Mojito

4 tbsp Broken Shed Vodka

2 watermelon chunks, 2 cm each

1 English Cucumber Slice,  2 cm (peeled and seeds removed)

Juice of 1 Lime

2 tsp. Sugar

Handful of Mint Leaves

Crushed Ice

Ginger Ale


Muddle the watermelon and cucumber chunks, with the juice of 1 lime and the sugar in a glass. Stir in mint leaves, then add crushed ice and 4 tbsp Vodka to a lowball glass. Top with ginger ale; garnish with more mint.
